Zika Virus Not a Worry to Americans, Gallup Says

More than 90% of adults in the U.S. think they are not likely to get the Zika virus, says a Gallup Poll conducted March 10-11 of 1,025 Americans. The report made comparisons to previous Gallup surveys during two other high-profile viruses in recent U.S. history—Ebola and H1N1/swine flu.

Asbestos Still a Threat, CDC Says

A total of 445,221 people died from asbestos in the U.S. from 1999 to 2015, according to CDC. The report says that the occurrence of mesothelioma deaths has increased, particularly among younger populations, at a greater rate than previously projected by the CDC.
